The Kickdrums – “There Might Be Blood” EP

thekickdrums-there

The Kickdrums are one of the most inventive and creative duos in recent memory. And I’m not saying that just because they are the homies. There’s really no way to label them into one single genre because their inspirations are massive and unpredictable. Shout out to Fitts, Tilla and URB Magazine for dropping “There Might Be Blood” for the holiday season! “Our inspiration for this album came from trying to create an E.P. that contained natural noises and various sonic artifacts- such as reverb and echoes, distortion, feedback, and the use of noise as an “instrument”. Combining that with strong, memorable melodies, the music on this album is reminiscent of the cool fall weather… and what better time to release an album titled “There Might Be Blood” then around Halloween?”

“The Wu-Massacre” Trailer Part I

On December 22, Method Man, Raekwon and Ghostface will be releasing one helluva an album. To promote this highly anticipated release, we proudly present “The Wu-Massacre” Part I of III Trailers inspired by the classic David Fincher flick “Se7en”. Enjoy!

Jared Evan – “Headphones / Feeling Like A Song” BTS

A few weeks ago we shot two more videos, “Headphones” and “Feeling Like A Song” (produced by Illmind) for the homie Jared Evan off his mixtape “Radio In My Head” which continues to make some serious noise. Look for these vids to drop very soon and as always shout out to Matt Graham at BRND MGMT for holding us down. Enjoy!

The Clipse feat. Cam’ron – “Popular Demand” BTS

Last week, Three/21 shot the dynamic VA duo, The Clipse and Killa Cam in NYC for their latest track “Popular Demand” off the upcoming album “Til The Casket Drops”. Despite a few crazy moments such as the NYPD trying to shut us down and blacklist us about 4 times in 4 seperate locations. Luckily Popeyes came to our rescue and let us shoot Cam inside during business hours in front of a whole bunch of surprised customers. Shout out to Steven Victor and the entire Re-Up Gang squad for holding us down. Come holla at ya uncle…

The Kickdrums – “Things Work Out” World Premiere

Directed By Rik Cordero

Visually collaborating with the homies Fitts and Tilla from The Kickdrums is always dope. For this video, “Things Work Out”, the concept was inspired by the butterly effect scene from “The Curious Case Of Benjamin Button”.  By definition, a butterfly effect involves random scenarios and “what ifs” where one storyline diverges at the moment of a seemingly minor event resulting in two significantly different outcomes. Fortunately for our story, “Things Work Out”.
